What type of wifi will the eve v come with and are there options for stronger wifi/ faster 802.11 wifi?

The specs for the V are already decided and the parts are in eve’s warehouse waiting for assembling (and the screens). The WIFI is an AC (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) 2x2 MU-MIMO card… 802.11n is the old (slow) standard. 802.11ac is the new (faster) standard. I think the AC in the V specs sheet means 802.11 AC…

The Eve V comes equipped with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 module. This same module is used in all Vs, there is no option to order a V with a different module.

This WiFi module features support for 801.11a/b/g/N/ac standards, has a 2x2 antenna setup with support for MU-MIMO and can broadcast and receive at 2.4 or 5.0GHz. This module also grants the device Bluetooth 4.2 capabilities.
