Not sure if a similar thread has already been made but I think it would be really interesting to hear everyone's use cases in regards to the V.
Let me begin, I started my search originally looking for a light laptop to replace my aging Acer Aspire which I mainly carry to work and use for light programming (attached to peripherals, so really hoping for an Eve usb-c all-in-one adapter). A decent GPU (which the Acer has) was something I was willing to sacrifice for a lighter and more portable device since I don't really use this laptop anymore for gaming and don't do any demanding image/video editing work either.
I then stumbled upon the Eve V in some article online and immediately liked the overall community driven concept. In the meantime I also grew to like the 2-in-1 form factor and settled for that over a conventional laptop/ ultrabook. Long story short after a lot of thought I decided to get the i5 perk which seemed to hit the sweet spot feature and price-wise for my needs.
As I mentioned, the V is primarily going to be replacing my laptop for programming at the office. But its form factor is opening up quite a few possibilities. Those include, taking quick notes using the touch pen when supporting customers, doodling concepts and braking ideas down, better portability which will allow for light programming and task solving while traveling, as well as a plethora of multimedia related use cases such as watching movies, (mainly) during travels and reading e-books. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of cool uses I haven't thought about yet that will pop up along the way.
Now let me hear your own plans
