USB device not recognized - Connected with DP and separate USB C cable

When connected to the spectrum hub I keep getting the error message several times a minute.
This is super annoying and I’m not sure if the devices connected to the hub actually disconnects or not.

This doesn’t happen when connected with USB B.

Can you verify that your USB C cable can handle data and power for the hub? Are you plugging it in the bottom or the side port of your Spectrum?

Upon further testing, it seems you are right. The cable is rated for 100 w charging but only usb 2.0 speeds unfortunately.
