The stylus seems to be a little overlooked in all these (admittedly important) other prototype bugs, so I wanted to start a thread specifically for it, as, for me, the stylus is one of the most important features of the V.
So here are my current concerns
The tip seems too flexible on at least one of the prototypes - it needs to be more secure. Was this a one-off or are they all like this?
Palm rejection. As @pauliunas noted, palm rejection does not seem to work properly. If I cannot rest my palm easily on the screen while drawing, this is a show stopper for me.
Lag. Watching Paul's videos (thanks Paul!) there appears to be a lot of lag. Is this the case? Can it be fixed? (EDIT: this does not seem to be an actual issue! thanks!)
the magnet doesn't hold properly on the side, only on the front/bezel.
I've yet to see a proper 'straight line' test or pressure level tests. Is there jitter in the pen? Is the transition from thin to thick to thin smooth?
here is an example of the jitter test: (it's on an sp3, but it persisted into sp4)
and here is on on the lag and taper issues:
