sorry or the late, This time of the year is pretty busy
Happy new year to the team by the way.
Unfortunately I am afraid that I see a few physical differences between the Eve V keyboard below.
And the Japanese Keyboard layout (below the surface example)
- In red are marked the main areas of physical change. This is mostly due to keys enabling to move from one writing mode to another.
- In yellow, Is a layout difference (I think), but sure it would be better to have that the standard way.
- In green (on surface picture) is the one key, with "Alt", which I think is not a must I think at this location. This is the menu key, it basically have the right click functionality and will output the right click menu depending on the application you are in. Although this Menu and Alt keys are quite common, even for desktops, this is not on all key boards. This could thus be spared I think.
The last picture for example is my home desktop keyboard with no "Menu" nor "Alt" keys on the right side of "space" (my office keyboard however has them).
Sooo... I think I was at first a little bit over exited when I first mentioned minor changes in comparison with he US layout.
I guess too much changes to hope for a Japanese version of the keyboard, at least on a short time range, isn't it?
PS : By the way... maybe stupid question but is the surface keyboard compatible with Eve V?
