@pauliunas Yes, that’s true. But as I stated, volume buttons are my most used Fn buttons, and I would guess they are quite used in general… To me it would make sense to have them handy on the keyboard rather than reaching the buttons on the V. I would rely on the buttons on the side when using the V as a classic tablet, which in my case will be less common than in “laptop mode”. Surely they make more sense to me than 3 keys for media player (even provided they will always work).
@pauliunas @kazenorin I concede you that it won’t be the most used functionality. I just maintain that this button actually makes more sense on the V rather than on a normal pc, because the V can be used with the keyboard detached. In that case it would be handy to still have a physical button to put the device to sleep. I would guess that on my current laptop I use the physical button to put the device to sleep about 90+% of the times, and the Start Menu > Power > Sleep path less than 10% of the times.
@nawthor I use Insert sometimes (less now than in the past) when substituting strings/paragraphs in tight cells/forms, in order to be able to read the previous text as I am overtyping it with the new one. I agree it can be devastating if miss-pressed . It would not be a huge loss for me, but I would not now how to toggle overtype mode except that by looking into the software I am using (I quickly checked Notepad++, Word, and Libre Office and they have quick toggles on the lower bar; however in Excel, for example, I can only turn on a check label to signal if Insert mode is on, but I can’t see a software key to cycle between Insert/Overtype; it might be buried in the menus though… I don’t think a software shortcut even exists in many web browsers).
