Despite relying on an entirely ICP based educational system I do have a basic understanding of how magnets work, but I think I'm wording this poorly. My question is this:
The Eve V keyboard attaches magnetically. The Surface Touch cover also attaches magnetically (according to the website). As established (exhaustively) the Eve V keyboard's magnets prevent it from being attached backwards. The Surface Touch Cover does not have that issue. This part I am clear on.
However, my question is two-fold. A. What is the difference in design that causes this, and B. Was it done intentionally to prevent the V's keyboard from being attached in reverse, or is it just a quirk? And if it's the latter, is it something that can be adjusted?
EDIT: Also, that's not directed solely at you, just a general question.
