Go to Sweetwater Music's online catalog, as well as the Gearslutz forum, for info.
I'm also trying to futureproof. I currently have USB 2 device, 8 gigs RAM, non SSD in my Lenovo laptop, and I get audio dropouts and higher latency than I want.
I use the AI as a soundcard (with ASIO, essential for multi-client), Abelton, sampled pianos.
