Override Native Resolution for Eyefinity Setup

What I’m trying to acheive… an eyefinity multi-monitor setup with three different monitors!! I’m crazy I know… I just keep buying monitors.

I’m trying to use Custom Resolution Utility 1.5.1 (by ToastyX) to override the default resolution of the ES07D03 to 2560x1440. This is because I have a 1440p ultrawide in the middle of my multi-monitor set-up which is causing letter boxing on the 4k monitors either side when using eyefinitny to create a single monitor resolution.

I’ve manged to change the default resolution of my Acer 4k, which now works with eyefinity and the 1440p ultrawide, but the same process failed for the spectrum :frowning:

Anyone know of a way to trick windows/eyefinity to beleiving that the 4k Spectrum is native 1440p?

Hi @TonyJHughes,

I’m assuming you’ve attempted to change the resolution of the Spectrum to 1440p but windows still recognised the Spectrum as a 4K monitor?

Have you tried forcing the limitation via HDMI cable? I believe an HDMI 1.2/1.4 will do the job
