Not Able to get above 120hz on PC and no HDR

I just got my Spectrum recently, and its pretty and nice. But for some reason I can’t get it above 120hz on my computer and even 120hz automatically re-disables HDR. I’ve tried everything from

Updating Firmware
Removing my 2nd monitor
Buy new HDMI 2.1 cables that are verified
Got the newest Nvidia Driver
Turned off G Sync

It persists.

I’m powering it with an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super so I feel I should be able to feed it enough for it but I just am not getting 144hz as a possibility, nor high refresh rate HDR. Am I missing something?

rtx 2080 doesn’t support hdmi 2.1 I believe. RTX 30 cards do support hdmi 2.1.
you can’t get 4k 144hz. However, lowering your resolution, you can get 120-144hz.

Use a DisplayPort cable instead. You should have no problems getting 4K @ 144Hz HDR. (I’m getting that with an RTX 2070.)
