I think the keyboard will be backlit, wireless and wired at the same time. Crazy stuff.
Charging... it depends on what you call "rapid". It's a very subjective term very heavily used by phone manufacturers, because everything more than 2.5W (USB standard) can be considered "quick". 2.5W is not enough even to keep the PF running without draining its battery, so obviously we will have something much more. 60W is pretty much standard on notebooks with similar battery capacity, but the PF won't eat as much power as a regular notebook so maybe we'll have something less than that.
And unfortunately, socketed components aren't possible in something that's less than about 2cm thick. Moreover, Intel doesn't produce sockets for the U and Y series of processors. RAM will also be soldered since the specific type we need only comes in solderable form factor and because a socket would add to the thickness. So if you have to replace something, it's gotta be the whole motherboard. Although I sure hope the battery won't be a huge glue ball stuffed into the casing. Maybe we can replace that. And SSD.
But nothing is confirmed, so I'm just relaying the latest rumors to you
