First Recommendation:
FRESH INSTALL IMMEDIATELY Factory boot goes to Windows 10 where you can only select English or Chinese in the initial setup. Once in the system, my SSD was reading as a Kingston OM8PDP3512B-A01 with a 1TB storage space which is wrong even after the Windows update to 11 system was lagging. Created a bootable USB installer for Windows 11 and clean installed. Drive now shows the correct model OM8PDP31024B-A01 and running much better. Not a great flashed image by Eve on these systems right now. Outside that build quality is great. Still need more time for a fair assessment as I’ve only had for 2ish hours.

WARNING Fresh install of Windows 11 doesn’t detect some hardware including Fingerprint reader and thunderbolt. I am trying to create a makeshift list off vendor IDs right now but just be aware till Eve updates their support site with the driver package it will be difficult

I was able to find all drivers that were detected to a point where nothing is an unknown device. I do not know if they are the latest or most stable but will have to do till Eve gives further support

After installing all the drivers manually above Windows Update did not detect any newer drivers. Running a free trial of AVG Driver updater AVG Driver Updater | Official AVG Support I was able to update a few drivers further.

Just realized audio is not working with the generic driver. If anyone can provide the audio chipset detected in with a non-wiped Eve V 2021 it would help since I did not record these devices before I wiped.

What details do you need specifically? I have a non-wiped V2 with working audio. It used Realtek Audio drivers. Default device names are in Chinese

Edit: FYI, it’s been updated to 11 through Microsoft’s tool.

can you go to device manager and see what realtek driver version is installed?

All three listed audio devices have the same general details:

Realtek(R) Audio
Provider: Microsoft
Driver Date: 2021-06-05
Driver Version: 10.0.22000.1

Thank you. I’ll do some searching. Hopefully official drivers will be posted soon :frowning:

Do you have a source for the Kingston driver? I’m curious if it’ll help with the stuttering and lag I’m sometimes seeing in the OS.

Hi guys,

I just posted similar update on other post, but I will reiterate it here anyways.

We are aware of the absence of V (2021) drivers on our official site. We are currently working on fixing this and I will post another update on this post (and the other) once we have them live.

For the internal team I will also mention Windows 11 compatibility, to make sure that the drivers posted are properly working for Windows 11.

no driver for the NVME. I just read the correct product model after OS reinstall. The system ran much better after reinstall but at this point without drivers hold off. The no audio is the big red flag. All the other drivers I posted worked great.

Glad to see that you got your V.
May I ask what brand and model your office chair is and whether you’d recommend it?

Bought it from a local Office Furniture supply store in South Melbourne.

Chair is brilliant. Saved my back half way through the pandemic. Couches don’t work!

Thanks, found it online: it’s an Enjoy Elite. Looks great, but quite expensive. Thanks for the recommendation.

Don’t know about yours but my back is worth it.
