Could the surface pro keyboard fit in the EVE V?
No, they use different pogo pin connections.
You can however use the V keyboard wirelessly with the surface pro.
Keep in mind that the only way to charge a V Wireless Keyboard, is using the Eve V. So even though you can use the keyboard wirelessly with a Surface device, you’ll still need a V to charge it occasionally!
Do you have an awesome idea or product for the V? Do you want to share your idea and product? Do not have any means of developing your idea or products further? Now you can! On this page, we can share our knowledge and resources. Together we can make what once thought never possible!
We don’t need a thread for this …
If you have an idea simply open a thread about it. This one is just unneccessary.
This is an adaptor which allows the independent use of the V’s keyboard with the MS SP2017.

There’s a whole section of the forum for this… I’d suggest putting ideas there
Nobody needs a adaptor. You can use V’s keyboard with bluetooth connection with every device you want.
Actually it would be great to have! As how will you change V’s keyboard if you don’t have V?
You mean charge? I rather want to have something for this problem! Said here so many times before: A pogo-pin saver for the keyboard with a buildt in QI Coil to load the keybord with any QI plate available… Want to use V keyboard on my desk and the V at a flexible arm to move it away as second screen when not writing or drawing on it. There are already some plans for the arm in my drawer…
When you’re really using this big fixed setup wouldn’t you rather use a full keyboard instead? I mean the V keyboard seems nice but is still a mobile keyboard.
I get used to type on my existing SP4 keyboard because I often type off road. Tried switching between two keyboards but there were too much ooops. So V keyboard will be my only keyboard and a external possibility to load the battery of V keyboard will make V compatible to more use cases… And V will not be fixed. Will be easily removable…
I agree. Actually - if possible - an adapt to connect to a usb-c would be cool if it had the right pin setup to support charging of the keyboard.
This would help especially if the keyboard is used with other devices via Bluetooth and one doesn’t always want to get out the V.
