FYI. Microsoft and Avast have confirmed that the combination causes a freeze with the MS 1803 update. The only solution is to roll back Windows, update Avast and then update Windows 1803 again. I have not experienced this problem, I do not use Avast.
So if we don’t use Avast in V, even update 1803 into V will not cause any problem?
Microsoft says “no problems” but be sure to download the latest 1803 version (with the “correction” updates).
Let Windows Update do it’s thing. It will automatically update your V if you have not disabled it. Be patient, the update takes awhile.
