@thephoenician and @pauliunas I think its good to still discuss. Again for me personally knowing that realistically Skylake could only support one TB3 output anyway, it was a moot point to go with 2 USB-C on either side.
My only want on both sides was that it gives people the freedom to utilise either side dependant on their environmental situation. For me, even though i'm right handed I like using my mouse with my left hand (please keep the mocking to a minimum ) so it would be best for me to have the USB-C on the right side instead of like most people on the left
It could also be that there isnt space on one side if say I am sitting on a train/plane doing some work and the USB charge port on the back of the plane seat or side of the train is in the opposite position to the port then there is a little less snaking around if there is an option on the other side.
So 2 on opposite sides is kinda slightly more convenient. Obviously this depends on the CPU/motherboard being able to take 2 TB3 controllers, and since we're moving to Kabylake?!??! anyone know if this can take 2 TB3 controllers?
Anyway that's my 2c worth about this. Appreciate all the fun repartee from the community.
