Can I make one last attempt at moving people's opinion regarding the position of the Home/End keys?
Assume that the row of F-keys can be made sticky through the Fn+Esc combination, which people seem to agree it's a good idea. You are making sticky some keys that you don't really use often (brightness, for example) and that are not required in any sort of key combination during regular use as they just drive specific features.
Assume that the Fn+Esc combination makes sticky ALL of the function buttons, including shift, arrows and so on. That's cleary wrong and definitely undesirable and even though this was never brought up I believe there won't be much argument on that. So, basically, ONLY the "F" row of keys can be made sticky.
Now: if offered the choice, what do you think, from a functional point of view considering both your use-case and other use-cases, is more important to give the possibility to make sticky? Brightness or Home/End?
In making this choice, please remember (among other things) that the brightness keys are ONLY used for brightness, whereas Home/End are used by your beloved software.
