Hi community, I have a couple of questions regarding charging behaviour. At CES 2017 some nice notebooks where displayed, such as the Lenovo X1 Carbon, which I am seriously considering buying. It features two USB type C ports, both of whch (supposedly) support USB PD. That means I can finally bring only ne charger, to charge my phone, tablet and notebook - yipppie!
Would it be possible to hook up the X1 Carbon with the charger and connect the second port to the V? Would that charge both devices at once? Slowly, or not at all?
What would happen if I where to remove the charger and keep both devices connected to each other? Nothing? Would it be possible to use the V or the X1C as a power bank for one or the other? Is there software to define one device as being the charger, while the other is the chargee?
Thanks in advance!
